Do you have any favourite Canadian indie bands? Do tell! We're always looking for new tunes to groove to.

    MEET: Alexandre Bilodeau

Photograph by: Gerry Kahrmann, Postmedia Olympic Team

It's been a year since Alexandre Bilodeau became the first Canadian athlete to win gold at the Olympics on home turf, winning all of our hearts. So what has he been up to? Winning, of course! He took home a silver and a gold at the 2011 Freestyle World Championships in Utah in February and snagged another gold at a competition in the Czech Republic last week.

When he's not on the slopes he honours his brother through philanthropic pursuits, championing research for cerebral palsy through the Canadian Association of Paediatric Health Services. And in his downtime? He's been known to indulge in a BeaverTail or two.
