All Eyes On: Stellar Screen Adaptations


The Help hits theatres today! When it comes to screen adaptations, the argument is usually that the book is better than the movie, but we've been looking forward to seeing this New York Times–bestselling book by Kathryn Stockett come to life! It's the story of a friendship between a white girl and a black maid in 1960s Mississippi, and stars Emma Stone (whom we loved in last year’s TIFF sleeper, Easy Aand the formidable Viola Davis.
