These two wonderfully Canadian things will come together this month in an event that’s almost too much greatness to handle! What is this spectacular event, you ask? The 2012 Scotiabank NHL Fan Fair, of course!

To make this day even sweeter, we’re holding two contests on Facebook and Twitter to give all you hockey fans two chances to win a 2012 NHL All-Star Authentic Jersey! We are also giving away some super prize packs that include goodies like BeaverTails hockey jerseys, our delicious Pancake Mix and sweet T-shirts.

1. How to Enter
No purchase necessary. To enter, entrants must log on to Twitter, join as a member if they are not already, follow @BeaverTails on Twitter, and tweet a picture of themselves in front of the BeaverTails mobile unit (located outside the Ottawa Convention Centre) during the 2012 Scotiabank NHL Fan Fair™ on January 26th, 27th or 28th, 2012, with the hashtag “#AllStarTail”. Only one entry per person will be accepted per business day of the contest. In the event of a dispute, the person who is the holder of the Twitter account specified will be deemed to be the entrant. BeaverTails does not accept entries for this contest by phone, fax, courier, mail or email. This contest is intended for residents of Canada only, excluding Quebec, and will be interpreted according to Canadian law. Contest runs January 26, 2012, 3:00 pm EST to January 28, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. EST ("Contest Period").
2. The Prize
The awarded prizes are:
- 1 2012 NHL All-Star Reebok EDGE Authentic Hockey Jersey (approx retail value $320.00)
- 2 Pancake Mix and 1 BeaverTails Hockey Jersey (approx retail value $65)
- 1 Pancake Mix and 1 BeaverTails T-shirt (approx retail value $45)
Prize must be accepted as awarded, is not transferable and cannot be exchanged with BeaverTails for cash. No telephone contact or correspondence will be entered into except with the winning entrant. BeaverTails reserves the right to substitute the prize which is, in their sole opinion, a prize of equivalent value and/or to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time. The chances of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.
3. Eligibility
To be eligible, entrants must log on to Twitter, join as a member if they are not already, follow @BeaverTails on Twitter, and tweet a picture of themselves in front of the BeaverTails mobile unit (located outside the Ottawa Convention Centre) during the 2012 Scotiabank NHL Fan Fair™ on January 26th, 27th or 28th, 2012, with the hashtag “#AllStarTail” during the Contest Period. This contest is open to all residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, excluding employees of BeaverTails Canada Inc., its affiliated companies or subsidiaries (collectively "BeaverTails"), its advertising and promotional agencies and members of their respective immediate households and any person domiciled with any of the above. Entrants must comply with these contest rules and Twitter’s Terms of Service and Twitter Rules at all times in order to be eligible to win the prize.
4. The Draw
A winner will be randomly selected on January 29, 2012, by a BeaverTails representative. The selected entrants will be notified by direct message through Twitter within four business days of the draw. If the selected entrant cannot be reached within four business days, or if the selected entrant does not meet all of the contest rules, another entrant will be selected from the remaining eligible entries. To win, the selected entrant or, if the winning entrant is under the age of majority, his/her parent or legal guardian, must correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone at a pre-arranged mutually convenient time. Failure to comply with the Contest Rules will result in disqualification and another entry will be drawn.
5. Entries
All entries become the property of BeaverTails. BeaverTails assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website, for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by BeaverTails on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from this contest. BeaverTails reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, cancel or suspend this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of BeaverTails and its advertising and promotional agencies, corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest or for any other reason. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with or unlawful in any way. Entries submitted by unauthorised means or by spamming will be disqualified. In the event that it has been determined that an entry has been made in an manner not sanctioned by these rules and/or an entrant has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these rules, the entrant and all of his/her entries will be disqualified. Entrants agree to abide by the contest rules and the decisions of the contest judges, which are final. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Entrants will be disqualified from the contest in the event they introduce or comment on any subject matter that may violate community standards or that is otherwise inappropriate as assessed in BeaverTails sole discretion.
6. Privacy
By entering the contest, entrants consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image for publicity purposes in all media used by BeaverTails, without payment or compensation.
