INSPIRE: 5 Great Winter Reads

There's nothing like curling up with a good book and a hot cup of tea on a chilly winter night - as long as said book is a page-turner! This week on the BT blog, we're rounding up 5 books that are sure to inspire this winter:

Dear Life: Stories by Alice Munro
 via Amazon.com

Munro is one of our favourite Canadian writers of all-time, so you could understand why her latest collection of short stories went straight to the top of our reading list.

Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

If you've never dipped into this epic novel before, then now's the time! The classic Russian love story is being adapted for the big screen, debuting this Christmas and starring Keira Knightly and Jude Law.

My Berlin Kitchen by Luisa Weiss

Part memoir, part cookbook, this read is right up our alley! My Berlin Kitchen tells the story of how author and Wednesday Chef blogger Luisa Weiss uprooted her life in NYC and found her way to a new start, with a little help from her kitchen.

The Chocolate Money by Ashley Prentice Norton

Norton had us at 'chocolate'. Telling the humorous tale of an opulent Chicago chocolate heiress and her less audacious daughter, this one's sure to be a page-turner.

The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling
 via Wikipedia

As Harry Potter author Rowling's first venture into grown-up lit, there's a good deal of hype for The Casual Vacancy to live up to. You be the judge!
